Dung ("Yoom") Pham

Miss Pham (first name pronounced "Yoom") joined the HEHS music department in 2004 after teaching for four years in the Rock Island School District and previously for five years in the Freeport School District.  She was the IMEA District 2/8 Festival Junior Orchestra guest conductor in November of 2006 and the guest clinician for the Davenport Schools String Festival in October of 2007.

In addition to technique classes and the Concert, Philharmonic and Symphony Orchestra classes, Miss Pham sponsors the chamber ensemble and the musical pit orchestra.

She is excited this year to be a part of the Schaumburg Youth Symphony Organization as the director of the new String Ensemble and is an active cellist performing in chamber ensembles and with the Clinton and Muscatine Symphony Orchestras.
