My Favorite Astronomy Websites
Astronomy Picture of the Day -- A great website! A new picture every day, and an explanation by an astronomer of what it is. There is an archive of several thousand pictures, and a search function that can find great pictures of almost anything.
Bad Astronomy -- Another good website. This one has links for debunking some astronomy myths -- like Fox News' fake moon landing -- and also to current events.
Astronomy Blog -- Current events, from planets and comets visible now to the space program.
Skymania News -- Current topics in Astronomy, and lots of interesting links.
Cosmic Log -- This is MSNBC's Astronomy website. It has up-to-date articles, and archives from months and years past. You can really stay current by checking this website once in a while.
Jet Propulsion Lab -- This is NASA's control center for planetary probes and satellites.
The Sun and The Moon (live)-- See what they look like right now. Is there a sunspot? What phase is the moon?
