My name is Andrés Acosta (hablo Español) and I am one of the School Social Workers here at Hoffman Estates High School. I came to Hoffman Estates High School in January of 1998 and am part of the student services department.

In addition to being a school social worker, I am the head sponsor for the Human Relations Club, I am a member of the Nationally Recognized Student Intervention Team (S.I.T.), I Co-Sponsor the Jason Foundation (Teen Suicide Prevention Program), and I also assist with the Peer Mediation Program.
I studied Social Work at Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI, where I received my Bachelor of Communication in 1989. I then received a Master of Clinical Social Work from Michigan State University in 1992.
