Before going to the “free web” – remember you get what you pay for – be sure to check out the Databases, where information

comes from identifiable, credible authors for academic research.

Any search engine will work better with single keywords.  More than one word?  Put it in quotes: Ex:  “civil war"

Avoid capital letters.  No articles: Ex: “the” “and” “a”
