H.E.L.P. (Hoffman Estates Loyal Parents) needs your help! Throughout the school year H.E.L.P. organizes several fundraisers, with 100% of the proceeds from these fundraisers going towards supporting our school. H.E.L.P. uses part of the proceeds to fund its own post prom, sports guides, and scholarships for seniors, then distributes the rest of the proceeds to various academic departments and extracurricular activities.

Please make our school a better place for our students by supporting these fundraisers:

    • Restaurant Coupon Days – Give yourself a break every month or so, and help our school at the same time. Simply visit the restaurant on the date listed on the coupon, place your order (dine in or carry out), give them your coupon, and our school will receive a percentage of your order.     • Flower Coupons – Purchase your flowers for the Homecoming Dance in October from Fabbrini’s Flowers on the date listed on the coupon, and our school will receive 10% of the order value. It’s that easy! Flower Coupons for Homecoming Dance on 10-4-08

    • Candy Sales – Enjoy delicious candy from Fannie May or give it as holiday gifts. By ordering through H.E.L.P. you will receive a 10% discount and pay no sales tax, plus our school will receive a percentage of your order. The Fannie May brochure and triplicate order forms will be mailed to your home in late September or early October. Then all you have to do is send in the order form – the candy will be delivered directly to you in time for the holidays! Candy Fundraiser (orders due 11-14-08)

    • Gift Card Sales – This fundraiser is a great way to do your holiday shopping, with over 150 gift cards to choose from! Just check off the gift cards you would like from the list of vendors, send in the form, pick up your gift cards at the school in December, and our school will receive a percentage for each gift card.     • Trivia/Game Night – Trivia/Game Night is an adult night out. Enjoy the company of your friends while having a great time. Tables will work as a team to answer trivia questions and compete at contests. A silent auction and raffles will round out the night. Seating is limited, so sign up now! H.E.L.P.’s aim with the fundraisers is to make the biggest impact on the greatest number of students. In the past few years, H.E.L.P has funded:

    • books for the Media Center
    • cardio equipment for the Physical Education department
    • calculators for the Math department
    • AED (Automated External Defibrillator) training equipment for the Health Education department
    • an automotive tool storage unit for the Applied Technology department
    • sewing machines for the Consumer Sciences department
    • framing supplies for the Art department, used to prepare work for exhibitions
    • supplies and events to support the Core Academic Program
    • training, kick-off, and events for the Peer Leader Program
    • SIT (Student Intervention Team) sponsored speakers and events
    • S.A.D.D. (Students Against Destructive Decisions) sponsored Operation Snowball
    • Human Relations Club sponsored events including the International Fair, a leadership conference, and the Soul Bowl
    • microphones for the Drama Club
    • poles and silks for the Flag Squad
    • trophy cases
    • sportsmanship awards
    • and much, much more!
