H.E.H.S.
National Honor Society will employ the following procedure in the selection of
its new members:
1.
Students are eligible for consideration if they have a non-weighted
cumulative grade point average of 3.00 or better at the end of their sophomore
or junior year.
2.
Students who are eligible scholastically must complete a student activity
form.
3.
All faculty members, coaches, and activity sponsors will be asked to
comment on the candidates based on the qualities of character, leadership, and
service.
4.
A faculty selection committee of five members will review the application
forms and the comments of the faculty, coaches and activity sponsors.
The committee will then select the inductees by a majority vote.
5.
Each candidate will be notified by mail concerning the decision of the
selection committee.
