Student Council runs the Toys for Tots program every winter.  Through donations by the HEHS clubs, activities, and local companies, the council collects money to spend on toys for those that are less fortunate. Council goes to Toys R Us where they purchase the toys with the money collected. Half the donations go to the Toys for Tots program run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve.  The other half of the donations go to the Home of the Sparrow,  a non profit transitional shelter for homeless women with children and expectant.
