Every year, Student Council members walk around carrying decorated buckets.  People donate money into their class buckets, and for every 50 cents collected an additional link will be added to the chain. The chains are displayed in the main hallway to see what class is in the lead.   The donations collected by the classes will be given to the Little Brothers of the Poor, an organization to provide for and give friendship to the elderly that are growing old alone in Chicago.
