Lessons in this laboratory course are designed to survey earth processes. Topics studied include the changing earth, earth materials, earth motions, energy flow, meteorology, oceans, climatic patterns, mountain formation, physical and historical geology, radiation and radioactivity, the earth's history, and astronomy.
Prerequisite: Completion of S137 Biology or S138 Biology; or recommendation of the Earth Science instructor.
