Dear Friends Of Hoffman Music

In planning this new year, we hope to take some stress off students and parents by reducing the number of fundraisers in which students are asked to participate. Many other schools supplement their district budget by charging an admission fee to their concerts. Because of the cost already incurred by families to provide their children with instruments, concert attire, private lessons, etc. we choose not to take this option.

When it comes to fundraising, parents often take on the lion’s share of the burden by taking various forms to work and assist in delivering and collecting money. We have all experienced lunch/break rooms with multiple fundraiser forms begging for attention throughout the year from various organizations. Hopefully this sponsor program will ease the burden of time and money for all.

In a typical fundraiser, a supporter purchasing $15 worth of items will have $ 5-7 going to the sponsoring program. We hope you would consider making a contribution directly to the HEHS Music Department. Since HEHS is a non-profit organization, this gift is tax-deductible.

It is possible to maximize any contribution by taking advantage of matching funds from your employer. If your workplace offers a matching gift program, please include the appropriate form when making your donation.

Thank you for your continued support of the program. We greatly appreciate all the ways you help: from attending concerts to taking your children to lessons to purchasing cheesecakes! We hope to see you this year after a performance and look forward to adding your name to the list of Friends of Hoffman Music.
