This course includes extensive work on both writing and the study of American literature. Students will be encouraged to think critically and to write logically. They will learn research skills, complete a research project, and write informative, analytical, and persuasive compositions based on literature studied as well as personal experience. (Prerequisite: E201 with teacher recommendation, E202 or E208)
