This course is structured for the student whose skills are below grade level. English 201 focuses on furthering studentsí development in reading, writing, and speaking. Students improve their comprehension and vocabulary skills. Basic analysis of fiction and nonfiction is developed and writing assignments stem from reading studies and personal experience. Students also have the opportunity to develop effective oral communication skills.
