B266 Computer Presentations


Students use Microsoft PowerPoint 2000 to create presentations.  Students learn to organize and to present information creating slides, outlines, and notes pages that include bulleted lists, clip art graphics, organizational charts, tables and objects. Skill in incorporating fonts, scanned digital graphics, and digital pictures is developed.  Slide builds and transitions are practiced and applied.  The Internet provides much of the research for this class.  Students will download sound, graphics, and video clips to enhance presentations.  Students prepare independent projects utilizing the skills learned.

Prerequisite:  B164 Computer Literacy/Computer Applications or B964 Computer Literacy.
