The Hoffman Estates High School Building Trades Program has been building custom homes for over twenty five years.  Under the supervision of Mr. Todd Stennett a home is built from the foundation to the shingles on the roof and everything inside. Students perform most all  of the carpentry and assist electricians, masons, plumbers and all other trades necessary.  The program is open to all juniors and seniors.  Having a Wood Technology class is helpful but not necessary.  Students interested in careers in architecture or building trades will find this a most interesting and challenging class. This year Hoffman Building Trades classes have expanded to 8 full sections. Mr. Stennett and Mr. Daugherity are teaching full time to teach the trade. This year's Home is well under way. The wall went up September 21st.
